We all strive to be "perfect" whatever that means to us.
We are living in a time and culture of the never enough mentality.
We want to be prettier, thinner and "flawless", but in reality when we pursue perfection we really are giving up on that part of ourselves that is unique and valuable.
We can be so hard on ourselves to when it comes to the standards and timelines of society. Many people do things because they believe they "ought to", but when's the last time you did something because you wanted to?
If you have been feeling the pressure to be perfect to the point you want to give up, or to the point you find yourself no longer motivated by the daily routine of life please know you aren't alone. There have been many times in my life that I struggled with motivation. I struggled to find the will to come back time and time again, but I still did.
No one has a perfect life, no matter how rich, popular or successful they are. It doesn't matter how many pictures are posted on social media that seem "perfect" happy and stress free. We all have areas in life we are working on, and we are all evolving. Please know today you aren't alone and you don't have to have life "figured out".
I'm learning day after day that what's truly needed is the full acceptance and love of self.
Stay encouraged beautiful, and never give up!
